my husband had stroke 3yrs ago, and has very nasty temper tantrums ,very little empathy . Anybody experience this, it is very hard to deal with

Try looking for a support group for the families and or spouses of victims of a stroke........check all the nearest hospitals and senior centers in your area. This might really help you. Also, have you discussed this with his doctor? You should.

My dad had a stroke almost 2 years ago. He has very little empahty and has tamper tantrums, but he was like that before. Now, he is very slow at catching on to things and comprhending things that are told to him. He still has problems with his right side...like writing and gripping with his hand.

My grandpa survived 5 heart attacks and he seems to be doing just fine...
