If he's found guilty, do you think he should have to sacrifice the Yellow Jersey he worked so hard to win?

I think if he's found guilty, they should just let it go. The guy has already been publically humiliated, and has paid his price. And Plus, the more serious issue, the tests could be yielding False Positives as they have for other riders in the Past.

Convict an innocent Man? Not in America, anyway....

If and only if he is found guilty then he should be stripped of his title. I am not claiming that he is guilty, I have the same information you and everyone else who answers your question will have, what I have heard and read in the media.

They do multiple tests to avoid false positives. Athletes these days know that they are under the microscope. Even taking something else that wasn't banned, but that caused the positive test does not float. Claiming ignorance about something he put into his body is no longer acceptable in today's sports world. It's not any different for an NFL football player. His testosterone tested at over 4x that of a normal person's.

I am certainly not saying to string him up it's over but I would like to see what the next test results say.

IF he is found guilty, then absolutely. He must be stripped of the title.

However, even if the B test comes back negative this will be his legacy forever. The French media is already in a frenzy over this news item and Landis will always be thought of as one who won the Tour de France, but had a test result with elevated testosterone.

He'll never get away from this, even if innocent.

Why are you automatically asuming he must be innoccent??because he happens to be American? Pur-lease!!!!

If his 2nd test is also positive, then there is absolutely no doubt that he should be stripped of the Tour title straight away. What other choice is there?

At this level of sport, NOBODY takes anything "unknowingly", and there's a hundred different masking agents to cover up whatever you've taken. AND If he knew he had an naturally high level of testosterone...then how come he, or his trainers, or his doctor, never once thought to tell the authorities BEFORE something like this happened???

A cheat is a cheat wherever he's from, and they MUST be exposed and humiliated for the good of all sport.Otherwise all sports become a pointless waste of time and a test only for chemists.

If Floyd Landis is found guilty he should lose his title. He should also apologise to cycling fans and the racer who came in second, Perreiro. As the guy who came in second would have been the true winner, but was denied his deserved victory celebration on the podium.

I do not believe he has taken steroids but indeed just has high levels of testosterone. he was tested six other times and was negative during the race and has been tested several times this year. They are awaiting another test currently.

If any athlete of any sport, is found guilty of taking steroids, they are a fraud and a disgrace and should be stripped of any awards and titles and punished.

Landis should be stripped of the win only if it is found that the testosterone in his body was synthetic. It is possible to do such a test and I believe he will be found innocent then. But if they do find synthetic testosterone then he certainly should be stripped of his win.

If he is guilty then of cousre he should lose it. Watching his performance on stage 17 even on TV was fantastic. If he took performance enhancing drugs then he has cheated, both his competitors and spectators. Do you think it would be right to let him keep his title is he is found guilty of cheatin? There is precious little fairness in the world as it is; lets try and not advocate cheating in sport..

Long live Lance Armstrong. Livestrong.

I read bits of his autobiography. He is so humane. Weak and strong at the same time. The book talks about his sickness, his recovery, cycling, his love life and mostly his admiration for his mom.
