I am 29, single and childfree and I feel fabulous! I've been single for 10 years--Yes honey--and I would not trade places with these women and their relationships. I am so glad I dont have to come home from a hard days work to cook, clean, give baths to babies, fix lunches, and clean the kitchen...And, as for the women with "boyfriends"--forget it. I could not imagine giving away free sex and paying half some man's bills--with the "hopes" that one day he'll pop the question..Girl soon as I make some money I'm going to Morocco with my friends and we're gonna have a blast. I'll be belly dancing while the rest of the women are crying over their boyfriends. And after that I'll go to Egypt. Life is too short. Peace.

I was married for a long time and I liked it. Then I was single ( which I didn't really care for at all) now I'm comfortable in my own skin, but I would one day like to be married again. That being said, however, I'm at peace with being single and I don't feel any desparation to change that "just because..." I hope that answer helps your investigation.

well i was single after 4 years and i stayed single up to two months almost and it was the best two months of my life i mean i went out with friends and didnt have to worry about a curfew or telling someone where i was going and there was no one to tell me what to do it was real nice i was in a real controlling relationship at the time and the man was real abusive so i was happy to bne out and now i got the greatest man in the world

I went 19 years with out dating anyone, then after dealing with men who would not commit, another 3 years, so it is great to be single and to be dealing with just you for awhile. I am 24.
