That is normal. A lot of birth controls sometimes make you bleed. I was on the shot, but didn't bleed at all. But, I did however get pregnant about a year and a half after being on it. I never missed a shot either so be careful! Good Luck!

That is normal. When I was on depo the first time I did not bleed for over three years. The second time I took It I had three periods a month for two years and decided to quit taking the shot.
Maybe you should look into the patch instead.

I had an opposite effect to Depo, I didn't bleed at all. I took it for about 3 years and ended up going back to the pill because I would get really bad mood swings where I would get irritated really easy, come to find out that was one of Depo's side effects that caused some of her other patients to switch. Then again it may effect people in other ways. I would suggest you double check with your doctor.

Its pretty common but what do you expect, that stuff is garbage,if you have to take hormonal contraception you should take the pill or the ring.Having a huge amount of hormones going through your body and you cant do nothing about it? And it stays with you long after your last shot because it hangs onto fat cells. It took my sister in law 11 months to get pregnant because all she did was bleed after she got off the shot.

With some people it's normal. I was actually the exact opposite. I didn't bleed at all. It may take a while to get used to, but I suggest you go ahead and let your Dr know.

This is normal. You can either stop(if your one of the lucky ones) or keep on bleeding(for those not so lucky ones).I wouldn't worry about it I know it's a pain in the butt but you should talk to your doctor if your truly consurned.

Unfortunantly it's normal. If I were you I wouldn't get the next shot and I would ask for birth control pills, or patch , or ring!

i would ask my doctor and if it isnt working out for you i would just take the normal pills. but i wouldnt get on the patch because you can get pregnant on the patch. So be careful what you choose and i would just research on all the birth control methods.
Good Luck

make sure you get plenty of iron and call your dr.
I have heard of some people bleeding for a long time when they first get the shot, but there could be complications so it is best to talk to someone who would know for sure.

Don't take the shot, it's bad for you. Get on regular pills.
