It certainly could be and may be one of us. If Lebanon was once "the Switzerland of the Middle East" no one is safe.
And, if you look at how the US treated its own citizens in Katrina anything is possible, too.
What will happen if the big New Madrid quake long predicted finally comes to the central US? Or, there is a major volcanic eruption? Or, a major terrorist attack on the US?
Even with political will these are difficult to address but there is no political will which cares for human life in Washington these days. The only human life cared for are the unborn. Once you are born you are in trouble!

yes, it breaks my heart to see what happens in Lebanon, Palestine , and Iraq. American media doesn't give you all the destruction going on in these countries, Arabic media does.
