Normally if your hair is a dark color naturally and you want to lighten it, you should purchase a dye that has a booster and do the strand test...Be careful though, cause you CAN bleach it too much and damage your hair. It is okay to dye it again, but the rule of thumb is that you should wait about 2-3 weeks before you start another dye process. You dont want your hair to fall out...so I think if it was a month and a half ago, it will be okay...Just make sure that the lighter you go, the heavier you conditioner is, after bleaching your hair can become dry....

Whithout seenig your hair this is what I'm thinking...Was it blonde before you colored it drk brown? If you had previously colored it blonde then covered it with the drk brown-Don't attempt to color again. Your hair is too fragile and see a pro who could assess the situation and tell you what to do. If the only color on your hair is the drk brown you put on it a month ago you can safely color it. Use a light ASH brown though... The ash will counteract the reddish tones that pop out when lightening darker hair. Unless you want a warmer brown-then just use a Natural light brown-Don't use the Golden brown in this case. The only problem you may have is that color has a hard time lightening other artificial color. Worse case scenerio-the color doesn't do much of anything.

Did you purchase this colour and do it your self??? there is multiple aspects that circulate into what you employ to colour your hair such because of the fact the colour that's now, is it organic or in the previous colored, what are you attempting to get to. human beings circulate to college for 2 years to benefit all the suggestion and tricks to coloring hair. i choose you to take this devoid of offense yet quite you merely could circulate to a salon. Doing it your self can mess issues up on such multiple stages and in specific situations can't be fixed devoid of bleaching each and everything and commencing over or reducing it off. no longer asserting it quite is inevitably what is going to take place on your case. To be honest i did no longer look on the photograph because of the fact no count what you do to restoration it in case you're finding out to purchase shop offered colour and doing it your self there are to many variables that should circulate incorrect. ... Sorry!

I wouldn't do that because if you dye your hair too much in one short time period, its bad for your hair, it could dry it out. so if I were you I would wait at least another month or two before I dyed or highlighted my hair
