I was raised by atheists. Now I am Christian, I was about 27 years old when the truth hit me like a ton of bricks.

I grew up Lutheran.
My husband grew up Jehovah's Witness.
Neither of us practice those faiths.
We do not have a faith now, but are actively engaged in personal searches - trying to bust the mental cage.
I was raised Lutheran from day one.
My husband's parents were indoctrinated when he was 7.
Even though we are amist change, I found that I needed to have our children baptized. So the only 2 times we have been in a church in the last ~10 years was for baptism ceremony. Something about the water.

I grew up Kind-of Mormon,, we were allowed to make our own decisions about faith, since then I have studied MANY different religions and cultures all seem to have value on a variety of levels. I feel most religions are altered forms of previous faiths,, So in my book the older religion the better. Having said that Science makes far more sense than any religion I have ever studied.
So,,l guess I am Science-loving Wiccan Questioner

I grew up a catholic. So I always tried to please God, up until about High school, I kinda got leery about the whole thing about earning your way into heave. Where was the standard? what if i tried really hard, but it just wasn't good enough?
So I left the faith for a while, and went searching. I ended up back in the christian church in college, only not as a catholic. Now I am a missionary in Asia, love reading and studying the bibile, have witnessed many amazing miracles, and am completely confident that I am where I should be.

I grew up Lutheran. I rarely missed a Sunday since I was born 27 years ago. I'm still a practicing Lutheran, in fact, I make a living directing the music program at a Lutheran church. My faith is still strong, although as i get older, I'm able to see outside the box and adjust my beliefs to fit the world I see around me.

I spent the first 13 years of my life being raised Jewish, going to Hebrew school, getting a Bat Mitzvah, but I can't honestly tell you whether I believed in God or not. From age 13/14 until 19, I was agnostic/lazy. Now I am a Messianic Jew. I got "saved" on December 3, 2005.

Well, let's see, I was raised a Christian, Baptist to be exact. Upon reaching teenager status, I began looking into the other denominations within Christianity, including going through Catechism. I eventually settled into Nondenominational Christianity and began studying to preach. After a period of faithfully serving I allowed personal problems to drive a wedge between my religion and I. Then I began exploring other religions. It took over a decade for me to return to my original faith, during that time I studied, at least briefly, most of the world's religions. When none offered the answers I sought I returned to the one that I felt did.

1) I was raised a mainly Christain household, Wesleyan, I say mainly because my parents encouraged me to ask questions to come up with my own answers. Even if they didn't involve Christianity.
2) I was never Baptized and do not practice Christianity but still hold true to the basic moral codes. (10 commandments)
3) I am a practicing Pagan, I am married to a Baptist man and we are raising are sons the way I was raised, aware of our beliefs but free to ask questions and determine their own paths.
4) I fully turned from my parent's path when I was 15.

The only faith that I have is in me, to be the best person I can be, and to make this world a better place. This faith works miracles for me and whoever I can touch by my individuality. I don't believe in religion though.. That is yesterdays news that people are afraid to think through.

I was raised with Catholicism. I was baptized, and took the sacrements of first communion and confirmation and confession. I attended the Church on and off most of my adult life, while also attending some churches of other religions to learn about other forms of theology.
I am now in my mid-30's and no longer consider myself Catholic nor do I follow any organized religion. I study other religions and theories and new age spiritualism and try to follow my own path.
I love teachers such as Neale Donald Walsch and the Conversations with God series and I love Wayne Dyer, Sylvia Browne, Sonia Choquette and many others who have inspired me.
