I have been looking for ages for one/some of these combs. They are circular, made of plastic and have teeth. They open out and then you clip together around your pony tail and hold it securely. I have afro hair and find that these combs are the best way to put my hair in bunches or one pony, but I can't find them in the shops anymore. I've hunted the internet, but came up with nothing. Can you help? My hair is wild!

To add - Ebay has nothing! Google has brought no valid results (trust me - Ilooked at most of the 800+ results it threw up). I've been searching the internet for about two weeks now.

I even looked when I was in Barbados last week, but Woolworths there had sold out!

The report back - I went to Superdrug and they had zigzag hair bands, but not the pony comb (they haven't sold them for years appaarently). Scunci.com looked good (something close to what I want) but no one stocks this particular item in England despite what the site states and you can't order direct via site. Clares? I've checked 4 branches so far (all large) no avail. Urgh! I NEED this comb! I really need your help guys!

Are you talking about the flexible long zig-zag thing that when open kinda makes a line and you slide one end into a little hole on the other end or are you talking about the little circular thing that's rigid and "clips" shut that's about a 2 inch circle?

The first you can get from claire's my friend went a couple of weeks ago - Try a larger claire's I've seen them in both Leicester and London claire's. The second you can get from any superdrug or even supermarkets like asda and morissons. I saw this at superdrug at Galleons reach in London about 3 weeks ago and in Morissons about 2 months ago.

I have not seen one for ages. The seemed to have gone out of style ; or may-be it is an alien hair adorn-ment , that is why we do not see them any more.

The only place I can think of is E BAY. They sell pretty much anything on that site.
