Humor is the quality that makes something laughable or amusing. Laughter is the pleasant or amusing feeling generated by the emotional release required to dissipate the inexplicable shock triggered when absurdities or irrational, unexpected or uncomfortable situations suddenly come into focus. Humans can only understand God with the faculties available to them as humans such as emotion, intuition, intellect, imagination and sensation thus God is made according to each individual humans understanding of all that is good and pleasing in the universe (if the human believes God to be good). Thus if a human believes humor is good then God must be the ultimate comedian.

Yes, we are part and parcel of God, all the qualities that are contained within a drop of sea water is naturally inherent within the source, namely the ocean, so humour certainly exists within the Supreme soul and the individual soul. Comedy is a direct result of humour.
If this is not so, then the explanation must be given, how does anything that exists, including humour, come from nothing.
Human beings are made in the image of God not vice versa.

Some picture God as this strict Judge in the sky just waiting to punish every little wrong thing we do. God CREATED HUMOR. I believe He's a jolly, happy sort with a contagious laugh and giggle. I believe He's going to be a KICK to hang out with.
The Bible says laughter is the best medicine.

Comedy is part of who we are BECAUSE God has a sense of humour. Look at the duck billed platypus, that was his joke on Darwin. And he definitely laughs whenever I tell him of my plans.
He loves fun, and he loves you.

God made us and everything that we possess. We have to use the sense he gave us and use discretion in what we think is actually funny. But I do believe that God has a sense of humor. It's just too universal not to come from Him.

comedy is a defense mechanism. we laugh so as not to cry.
of course god has a sense of humor. a sick and twisted sense of humor sometimes. I've always imagined that god is laughing his a** off at us. i would too, we do some really dumb s***.
