north korea is not interested in attacking the USA. They ARE delusional though, in that they actually think that if they had a nuclear missile or two, that somehow THAT would intimidate the US, preventing American aggression.
Morons.
If THOUSANDS of Nukes in the hands of the old USSR did not make America back down, they are dreaming if they think one or two low grade missiles are going ot work.
But that is the danger. Their leader is so insane and detached from reality that this weird way of thinking makes sense to them.
A nuclear "accident" on one of their missile launch sites would probably send the right message.

They cant even feed their own people.
Enriching uranium is easily in reach of most countries technologies. They already have enough to build 6 or so nuclear bombs. The DPKR has a lot of conventional weapons( missles, tanks, guns etc), but their dictator only knows how to get what he wants by threats. The international community is fed up with threats. North Korea is a lot of hot air, countries dont take them as seriously, even though they have a lot of military power. They just cry wolf all the time.
Even China ( their only ally), has to keep them on a tight leash.
The Arabs are looking for a nuclear weapon so they can get rid of Israel. I dont think North Korea would loose any sleep over that. But I dont think the DPRK is as much of a threat, as other middle Eastern countries looking to knock off Israel.

Possibly Mr. Kim is likely to do almost anything (except
take care of his people) to stay on the world stage,I think
Japan,South Korea etc.are the ones who really need to worry.

North Korea is just preparing to fortify its defense against aggression from its neighbors but not to attack the US.
