The best classical way to handle that is to unload yourself before you meet her. That will help you not get erection, feel comfortable and gain some confidence. Instead of worrying about the issue you can as well forget it when you unload it just before a date. This is not a bad way to prevent embarassment but just a natural way of prevention and IT WORKS!
Ofcourse if you are very close to your girlfriend and really love each other, I really dont think it is an issue at all as she would understand and accept things about you no matter what.

Actually, because you really like her, that's why you're having an erection. What is her reaction to this? If she is okay with it, don't sweat the small stuff. It is perfectly natural, but you may want to go to a bathroom and take care of that.

Well - believe it or not you CAN control it. Mind over matter :) & Also, has she noticed it? If so, and she said something, then it doesnt matter. If she hasnt said anything she might think that you dont want her to notice. It is kind of akward but I know that when I am around guys with boners that I dont mind. lol. Nobody really seems to really care but if it bothers you that bad, where baggy pants or loose shirts. sit cross legged too. I hope you dont let this ruin things with your girl! Good luck!

i am sure that it is just that you really like her and it is being close to her that makes you feel that way if nothing else try wearing baggier pants or thinking of something really gross to make it go down i mean like walking in on your grandparents mom i always think of that when i know that i aint supposed to be in the mood or if you got a friend with a real fat and nasty mom that one works too trust me that is what my bf uses when he pops at an inoportune moment lol.

Unlike some of these people, I would get insulted. Especially if you showed me. Just think of something non sexual. Like something sad or a scene where you get killed, surely that's not sexual.
