Ok there is this guy that i like alot and we hang out all the time and he knows i like him but we cant date because my dad i am 17 and he is 18 ....Anyways he confuses me its like one day i know for sure he likes me but then he will start talking to me about other girls or he'll say you wanna go out and ill say yeah i guess he says yeah there will be guys there and you can talk too some . But maybe he just wants to be friends and he just has a strange way of turning on and off this charm that can understandably be confusing to anyone... Keep a watch to see if he continues to behave this way... my experience is that if he really likes you he'll let you know maybe subtley but he'll hopefully make a move that will leave his actions louder than words. Keep hanging out with your friends and enjoying your life... don't spend too much time wondering if he does or doesn't... if you really want to know you might consider just taking the leap and find out but if your in no rush take your time with it. Remember back in the day when guys used to let you know that they liked you by hitting you and pulling your hair... maybe what your friend is doing is not too far from the same type of teasing...hey I could be wrong but I hope this answer helps... best of wishes.

To me it sounds like he is fed up. I think the boy is into you but believe me not having a "father" approval really does effect things. I also think he is trying to push himself away from you and vice versa. He is doing this becuz he is hurt and does not wanna get to close cuz your father is trying to keep you apart. So that could be a good thing.... if you think about it....he wants to respect your father's wishes until the time is right. Remember the old saying..."To get good with a woman you go through the father". lol

I dont see why a year age gap makes a difference. Sounds like he does like you, maybe asking you out in a group is less daunting for him than just 1 on 1. Him talking about other girls may be to make you jealous. When he does it next time listen to him, if he is just talking about their looks then he is probably trying to gauge your reaction to see if your jealous. Tell him about other guys you like and see what his reaction is. If none then he isn't interested.

well sweet heart, for my opion i will say it a good sign and a bad sign. don't get confuse now listen, ok about the part he tell u guy could be ther he could just be testing your water to see if u went to date guys or you i interested in somebody else him. ok so it both he could see you as a friend he could talk to about anythink or he just playing you tell me first befor i spit it off.

I think that you should try to cultivate this friendship with him because it shows he really cares about you. He obviously respects your fathers wishes and does not try to do anything disrepectful to him or you. Friendships are great foundations for deeper relationships and you are so young, you have all the time in the world to date, etc.......have fun!

maybe he likes you but he is trying to play it off. are you sure that he knows that u like him? when he starts talking about other girls, i think that he is trying to make you jealous. since you are together now as friends, give it some time and then u will be able to be together as boyfriend/girlfriend
