I don't know much about him and was disappointed to hear of this scandal, however after watching his interview today, he seems innocent. What do you think?

No, I don;t think he is guilty of using enhancement drugs. I think whenever you win the Tour de France, especially if you are an american, you automatically have to stave off rumors liek this. The french hate americans.

Now, I honestly think there's a good chance that Flody is innocent. Based upon what I've read about him, and what others think about him, he seems like a guy with integrity. Of course, I could be wrong :-)

If the tests indicated that he took EPO, or was blood doping, I would think he's guilty. But, since steroids generally aren't the "drugs of choice" for cyclists, I'm thinking he very well might be innocent. By the way, lots of athletes have failed initial tests for high testosterone levels, and were later cleared by the B Tests. I'd say there's a pretty slim chance that he will be convicted, but people will always speculate, which is the unfortunate thing.

Now Lance on the other hand IS a doper. I have no doubts at all about that.

And, I wish you slack jawed yokels would stop with this "France is out to get American Riders" mentality. It just sounds ignorant.

I do not believe Floyd took a banned substance prior to his Stage 17 win in the Tour de France. But I am very disturbed by the news of him testing outside the allowed threshold for testosterone/epitestosterone after this win. It's quite likely that his "B" sample will yield the same result as his "A" sample and he will have a hearing of the findings before learning whether he will lose his title as 2006 Tour de France champion. Ultimately, I expect this issue to be resolved in court. Landis, however, will always be suspected of cheating regardless of whether he wins every legal fight from now till eternity. He cannot and will not erase the taint of the positive first result from the minds of many people, especially among those who believe cycling to be riddled with dopers.

With all the scrutiny that Lance had do you really think that any of them would think they could get away with it? If they do then they are idiots. I hope he is found to be innocent. The French simply don't like it when an American comes in and wins their race yet again!

I heard this first on ESPN, but even his mother doesn't completely believe his story that he is clean. Here's what she had to say: "Arlene Landis, his mother, said Thursday that she wouldn't blame her son if he was taking medication to treat the pain in his injured hip, but "if it's something worse than that, then he doesn't deserve to win."

Maybe he has three testicles. I'm not kidding. It's possible, and it would explain the extra hormones. I for one would not check, but think about it.
