Haha, do both. Join the Army. You could even go active duty, instead of reserves, and like that other guy said, tell your NCOs that you are going to school to be a fashion designer and their look will make you laugh for ages.
Oh, by the way, the Army will pay for your school completely, and they may even give you some extra cash.
If you do it right, you can get a free laptop from them as well.
Don't listen to what those guys are saying, trashing the Army. We in the Army call the Air Force the "Chair Force" because they don't do as much as we do. We have fun here, we do things. I'm in the Army and I'm treated very very well. I love the people I work with and wouldn't trade them for anything.
All in all though, you need to do what is best for you. The Army is no small time commitment. It takes determination and perseverance. But I'll tell you what, I'll bet fashion school is no cakewalk either. And the discipline and strength the Army will give you will be greatly utilized in that profession.
Good luck.

You should go to the Army. That way, when Bush gets us into another conflict, you can get your arms blown off and collect $200/month for the rest of your life.

I would do both, The Army will teach you how to take care of yourself, make a leader out of you, and on top of everything else, they will pay for your college once you fulfill your contract with them.

Any one who joins any military controlled by the idiot currently sitting in The White House is a fool. Bush doesn't care about the troops, they ain't rich.

I would say both.
If only to see the look on the face of one of my NCOs when his MK-19 gunner tells him she wants to design clothes. (Yes I do have an odd sense of humor.)
