Christianity teaches that we are all born with a sin nature, and as soon as a child understands right from wrong, he or she needs to get saved. This would vary with each child, some may understand the plan of salvation at 5 and another at 12.

some worship God some worship the devil, and some worship science. For the most part everyone thinks one of these are true. so let the ones that worship God study and learn about him and take part in all God has to offer. and the ones that believe in the devil do the same. and also the ones that believe in since. at the end of life we will all know the truth.are we can look for the truth while we are on earth and be open minded until we find the truth. I hope everyone finds the truth they are looking for and i have included this site as a place to start for some and a place to end for others that thank they know what is true good link http://the-heavenly-home-page.blogspot.com/

I think that you have it a bit wrong Bob. This is not faith at all. It is a total lack of faith.
This idea assumes a Small g god so inept that he can't even organize a simple educational field excursion, and get all the students back home safely.
This idea is an insult to the real Unconditionally loving God. The real God has a plan for the return home of every single one of us that is going to work.
I have perfect faith in God to get each and every one of us back home safely at the end of our time here. The real God loves each of us that much. This is real faith in a real God that deserves only perfect faith from us.
That other made up incompetent God gets the partial faith it deserves form the poor souls whose kids are born defective and in need of repair.
Sad that these guys let people lie to their kids and tell them this nonsense.
Sounds a lot more like child abuse than religion to me.
We need to keep them in our prayers and ask the real God to save them from this incompetent imposter.
Love and blessings

I believe that we are all born into sin, however, little babies do not have the comprehension to understand the idea of a soul and a spirit and sin. I would think someone at the age of eight would understand about salvation and such.

Not Islam that's for sure.
In Islam every baby or child is born sinless and sin's are accounted after the age of 12 or puberty.

Every child is born under the stain of sin. Suffer (allow) the children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God."

Catholics believe that everyone is born with inherited sin from the 'original sin' of mankind - ie) The Fall from Eden.

my understanding of that is that all of us are born with sin nature, that from very early ages we committ sins, which our parents scold or whoop our behinds for, they are trying to teach us right from wrong, little kids lie just like grown folk, they cheat and steal if you let them, because sin is in us before we had the choice to even decide what sin was......it's not saying anything negative it's just stating that we aren't born perfect beings and don't expect even your child to be a perfect being...can anyone say their child has never sinned?

If Adam had a million dollars and kept it, then his children could have inherited the million dollars.
If Adam had had a million dollars and lost it, then his kids would not have inherited it.
Some people see Original Sin like that.
