good tip used by celebrity stylists and recommended by several top beauticians is to periodically use a
vinegar rinse on your hair. The acid in the vinegar helps to rinse away residue on the hair left by dirt and styling
products, and leaves the hair shiny and smooth due to the acid content. It may not smell too pleasant, but it
really works to clean the hair and remove the residue that causes dullness.

I have used every product on the market, from the most expensive stuff my hairdresser pushes on me at the salon to random impulse buys and the grocery store.
The best stuff in the world is a product by Proclaim called Glossing Polish.
Use a little bit before you blow dry and then again to finish.
Its full of healthy stuff and good to protect your hair from heat.
Its VERY inexpensive and you can get it at a beauty supply like Sally.

before washing it squeeze some citrus on it. either fresh lemon lime or orange. go out in the sun for 10 to 20 minutes or more if you want then wash your hair. Aleo and very ripe avocado is good for hair you can mix it in some hair mayo and put it in your hair every other week or more if your hair is extreamly dry. they sell hair shine serums at the salons but i say natural is better. its all up to you good luck

This may sound primitive, but honestly, alot of the shine comes from RINSING out your hair thoroughly. I've discovered that when I really rinse my hair out, my hair dries shinier. I read before that you should rinse your hair out with colder water, to close the hair particles, hence better shine. It really works. Good luck ! =)
