Probably not.
You and he would need to be using email programs that support return receipts (such as outlook). Even then, the person on the receiving end can bypass the return receipt.

Aol has receipts. I know a guy that doesn't answer mine, but when I talk to him, I can tell he reads them because he comments on them. It's totally rude for someone not to respond to your emails. See if you can put a receipt on, or use one of the ecard services that tells you when they pick up your ecard.

Why would you worry about that? If they don't answer, they're obviously not interested. Move on.
