I used my desktop for all of my itunes stuff, but it crashed so i switched to my lapop...when i tried to add new songs it erased all of my old songs. I finally loaded all of the songs back onto the ipod but my laptop recently crashed (yes i know i have computer problems). How can i get the new songs on my ipod with out erasing the old ones?

u can disable the auto-update in iTunes. thers a setting somewhere in iTunes to change it. Once you do that, you have to manually drag and drop songs from your library to your iPod in the Source view (on the right hand side). If you want to get songs from your iPod to your computer, heres how http://playlistmag.com/help/2005/01/2waystreet/index.php

in case you connect your ipod on your new computing device and you have intunes put in a window would desire to pop up and it is going to tell you in case you opt to replace/erase your intunes reminiscence. merely attempt it out. if something is going incorrect merely click "quit syncing" this is especially plenty all approximately analyzing what the popups say.
