After you have had a conversation with her is completely acceptable AS LONG as the conversation went well. I am not talking a long conversation but rather chit chat. Then, after a pause, and an air of hesitancy, ask "Would you mind if I call you sometime?" This leaves someone a little room to play with...if they say sure, then leave and "forget" to give you the number-they werent comfortable. If not, they will say sure and proceed to give you the number. Easy way to go about it without feeling like you are humiliated or placing her in the embarrassing situation of having to say no. MOST girls are not mean spirited and feel just as bad if we humiliate you.

You could star by giving your phone # to her then she will call if she is interested and you have nothing lost by letting her know that you would like to get to know her.or be straight forward and just come out and ask her for her # say "I would like to call you some time can you give me your #.Be ready with a little card and pen in your pocket,if she says okay.

I would think some girls are not so willing to give out there number. We live in a society where it is ok for the female to call the male, try giving her your number first.

Just like that, "Can I have your phone number and call you sometime?" You can either know them for a minute or a lifetime. If you don't know them, then that is a perfect way to get to know them.

You should ask her if you can have her number so you can call her because you would like to take her out sometime. Remember to always be polite and don't act like a desprite freek when you ask her.

well i am a girl i i wouldnt want to be asked for my number in front of a bunch of people. so i would ask her for it through a note or maybe by a locker.just be cool and dont be nervous! be confident!

first off...you dont even have to ask....most girls you can just tell them to give you their phone number and they will. actually more will give it to you this way than if you ask, and more will give you a REAL number. women love confidence...almost more than looks a lot of the time. so dont be a pussy and just tell her to give it to you...if youre unsure and you have your cell with you dial it right when she gives it to you and call immediately and let her know you just want to make sure shes not just playing you, it throws them off and usually increases their initial attraction to you

walk up to her and say may i call you sometime or can i have your number it dont matter you could have just met her or have know her for a long time if you want to get to know that person better stop being a fraidy cat and ask

Just walk up to her and ask her if it would be ok to have her phone number.At least you can see if you are in the running.
