I read somewhere that hair is dead protein. And all those hair products claiminng to repair you hair are lies, because once hair is grown it can't be changed. You just have to cut it out and work on growing better hair.

This is true. Hair care products can offer temporary results by coating the hair with wax, silicone, etc.

yea ,once the hair comes out your head it is dead.so once it is damaged you cant fix it.products like split end mender just mends it for a while you still have to cut it off to repair your hair.so really most of them that claim they can repair your hair is not telling the truth.
