A lot of people spend lots of time making sure they look just right, but don't ever put anything interesting in thier heads to talk about. This is a chance to get to know each other, so be ready to ask about his interests, and to talk about things that interest you. If you can't think of anything, read articles on subjects you like before you go out.

Just relax and enjoy yourself. Try to act like yourself and don't be nervous.First dates are always tough. Because both are nervous and don't act like their self anyway. But you should be able to pick up on somethings like if there will be a second date or not.

Something non-threatening, and along the lines of getting-to-know-you-better, such as a board game night or something.
I would also recommend doubling or tripling, just so you don't get thinking that the first is the right one because he was first one you met.
