how do you get over always being the oldest??

im always the oldest the only break from little kids is at school im the oldest child oldest grand child. and all of my moms freinds kids are five and below plz help me im desperate.

I know what you mean. I am the oldest of four boys.All my life all I heard was " set the example for your brothers" but who set the example for me.It gets old after a while. I have a brother who is 53 another 56 another 59 and I am 62. My dad(84) still tells me to watch what I do because I am the oldest. It never stops no matter how old you get.

Make friends your age. You will never 'get over' being the oldest, thats just the way it is. Be a good leader and set good examples and change your opinion about being the oldest, why fight something you can't change? A wise person makes the best of every situation. See it as the opportunity to be a leader instead of it being a burden. Helping them along the way can give you a great sense of satisfaction and make you very proud of yourself. They will look up to you and you have the chance to be someone who will always be very special to them.

you cant change when you were born, you cant change how old you are.
you will always be the "oldest" no matter what.
i have a sister that was the first "oldest" out of 8 kids, and she cant change her age or change when she was born and she wasnt always happy being the oldest but she lived through it anyways.
she had to help our mom take care of the younger ones.

Start bringing friends home with your for family gatherings. It sucks being the only one of a certain age. All of my relatives were either older or younger than me, nobody in my age range!
