Depends on the drug. If it is just a pain med, explain you had a migraine and you took a couple by accident and ask for a re-test. If you think that will not fly, ask for a retest anyways and look online for what will help to 'sheild' whatever you took. Or if it is like valium say you had an old rx from years ago and you needed one the other day to relax after a bad day. Alot of people are going to be considerate. It really depends on what it was.
If it is really as you say take in your wifes RX and explain no one is perfect 'I meant to take these, but took these instead thats why I failed. Can I have a retest please?"
most states allow for a retest regardless

Ok, For 1 you should of told the clinic what you took. You don't have to provide the script to them but you do have to tell them any meds you are on. Other then lying and going to the ER in "Pain" then No...Nobody is just going to write you a script unless you have a "connection"
If this was a job you held for awhile I would think you could take some legal action upon them. You should not have to prove you have a prescription since that is a violation of your medical history. Have you tried to explain that you took something for pain in your house.

Probably not - legally at least. Why don't you make an appeal based on the truth. Have your wife sign an affidavit, bring her prescription, take pictures of your bathroom, show the similarity between the 2 bottles / pills and therefore the reason for which the error happened.
Good luck!

I doubt that you can get a script for it. I am assuming it was a narcotic, or they would not have made a big deal out of it. Unless you can get your own private doctor who treats your back problem to write you one.Did you try explaining what happened? And ask for another drug test. Sometimes if you are honest with people it works better than a lie.

Best advise go to your Dr. and tell him what happened. show him the Rx that you mistakenly took, and ask him to write you a script for the same thing,

Not without getting someone to commit a huge amount of fraud for little to no compensation. If I were a medical professional and being asked to do this, which would jepordize my medical license if caught, I would want a gigantic amount of cash to take such a risk. If you know what medical professionals make - you can imagine what type of money I am talking about.

Take both meds and your wife to the DR and have him write a note explaining what happened and that those are not prescribed for you, but are in the home.
