You assume too much. To say God is without sin is an assumption. He defined sin. He is in all of us just as we are all in Him. Do not put God on such a high pedestal. And don't think that because we have associated the word God with a logical, sinless, holy, righteous being, that God is capable of being defined. If you think you know what God means, then you are confused. God is everything. Mother Nature, Father Time, the moon, the stars, the ants in the backyard. God is love, hate, regret, jealousy, lust. To think that God sits somewhere and judges us is wrong on so many levels it defies belief. God is not a person. If God was a "being", we would not occupy its time. Do you really need to think that someone else is watching to know the difference between right and wrong? Are you unable to define just and unjust for yourself? If these concepts are beyond you, why would this God be responsible for deciding what should happen to you? I believe that you have already decided.

I'm not real sure what you are asking?
I will assume you are asking how can a sinner enter before a perfect God?
And/or does it depend on the degree of sin?

I will try to answer-
Sin is Sin (in for a Penney in for a pound)
If you break the smallest of the Laws you break the law, and breaking the law even the least law you will be put to death the 2nd time (the 2nd death, the lake of fire, fade to black). It does not mater if you worked on the Sabbath or murdered 10,000 women and children, you have earned death! That is the Law.

Christ the witness of God, The first created thing, became flesh, lived, taught the word of God, lived perfectly in the Law, crucified, rejected by God, died, enter hell for 3 days, and became the first resurrected.
All this for our sin, our sins became his sins, and he overcame hell. So that if you believe in him regardless of your sins you will not parish (2nd death, fade to black)

Hope you understand

It is impossible for a person to enter Heaven with sin in their hearts. There are no levels of sin, a sin is a sin is a sin. By asking God to forgive you and turn from your sinful ways is the answer.

"born again" was found 3 times in 3 verses in the New Testament.

John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:7 - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

1 Peter 1:23 - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Those who are born again have their sins covered by the blood Jesus Christ that He shed for their sins on the old rugged cross.

There is one and only one way by which I am sure one can enter Heaven, as there is no one, not one, who is without sin. Man's rules are different than God's, and it is states in His word that all sins are equal, not one greater than another. The only way to get to Heaven is by realizing you are a sinner, and excepting the free gift provided by Christ. You can't work your way in by good works, nor by trying to be the best. Any actions of love and kindness should be out of gratitude and love for your fellow man.

The purpose of God sending Jesus to Earth was partly to act as a mediator on our behalf.

Remember the story of Job in the Old Testament? Job finally challenged God by asking Him how He can judge when He has never been tempted.

When God sent Jesus to Earth, Jesus went through the same temptations we did. This helps him to understand what we go through in life, and to speak on our behalf.

Before Jesus Christ came and gave his life for us on the cross, then rose again to victor over eternal death, we would have been doomed to eternal death and separation from God.

1. Sins are sins. We will not be judged until the Last Judgement. When the Book of Life will be opened, and the angel will call out all of our life while we stand before God. This is like, as your example gave, commiting petty theft, and 1st degree murder, and not having to go to jail at all until judgment day. But, the Bible tells us that a liar is as bad as a murderer. A man who lusts after a woman in his heart and mind---without even touching her---is guilty of adultery already. But what could ever be a worse crime that crucifying Christ all over again, betraying him all over again, every time we sin against the Father who sent him to die for us? I can think of no greater sin.

2. There is only one Unforgiveable Sin - Blaspheming the Holy Spirit after one has already been saved. Turning your back on your salvation and cursing the spirit that saved you. God will not forgive that.

3. God wasn't insane when he sent his only son to die for you and me. He loved his creations. Can you imagine creating something that you loved so deeply and not doing everything you could to save it when a thief broke in to destroy it? God loved us so much---not "crazy" about us---that he sent his only son to die for us, to save us from ourselves, from our own transgressions. By his stripes we were healed. Everything was done out of love for this sinful, ungrateful, depraved world.

Very simple. Because Christ died in our place, took our sins upon Himself, went to Hell for three days, and ascended into heaven. He constantly intercedes on our behalf with the Father. When we accept Him as our Lord and Saviour, His righteousness is imputed (placed upon) us, therefore we are positionally righteous before God, again because of Christ's righteousness, and so we can enter heaven, washed clean of our sins. It is as if we had never sinned at all.

no no no you're forgetting about JESUS!
here's why he died:
in the old testamnet, peple had to sacrifice an animal to make up for their sins. But this was a glitchy system, as people had to keep sacrificing and sacrificing. So God sent his son Jesus, the "lamb of God", the perfect sacrifice who would make up for everybody's sins, everywhere, for ever. So now, everyone who believes in Jesus is going to heaven. That's it.

We all have sinned, and we all fall short of the glory of God. The good thing is Jesus died for our sins, and if we accept Him as our saviour, we may enter His kingdom blameless.

As for earthly judgements, they are of little consequence on the immortal soul. Just because God has forgiven you of your sin, doesn't mean Judge Judy will.
