I often have orgasms in the middle of the night and sometimes wake up in the middle of one... but I'm a woman!! Not that they aren't pleasant but I think that they are not normal - since I'm a woman. I thought only men got orgasms like that. What's wrong with me?

this is what we also call as nocturnal emission. A nocturnal emission is an ejaculation of semen experienced during sleep. It is also called a "wet dream", an involuntary orgasm, or simply an orgasm during sleep.

The source of nocturnal emissions is not known. A common theory, tacitly assumed by many researchers, is that they are the direct result of the stimulation caused by either erotic dreams or memories of waking sexual activities. For this reason the term wet dream is also used figuratively for something very pleasurable but often imagined or hoped for. However, there has been little experimental evidence to support this theory, and many men claim to have had nocturnal emissions without accompanying erotic dreams.

but true.. it usually occurs to men. but there are cases involving women also. For women the correlation is also short of conclusive "According to Kinsey's findings, women who suddenly lost the opportunity for several coital orgasms per week had only a few more orgasms in their sleep per year."

hope that helps.

Yes wet dreams are less common in women then they are in men but it's natural..don't worry about it..to be perfectly honest a lack of wet dreams is normal as well..because I've never had one..

Females orgasm too, but mostly by clitoral stimulation. You need to read up some.

Nothing is wrong with you. If you don't get enough release (either by doing it yourself or otherwise) sometimes the body takes care of it on it's own.
