ok, my best boy mate is in love with this girl. he keeps telling me how wonderful she is, how he can talk to her about anything etc, but will not tell me who she is. my friends think it is me, but he wont say. he will tell me about his feelings for her, but is really clammy about her identity. he also keeps asking about my own love life a lot. do you think its me he likes? please help me

hmmm.... i think this is a case of crossing the line between friendship and lover... i once was in this situation my best friend declared his love for me, but sadly it all went wrong when i told him i loved him for being my friend not my lover and we never spoke properly again.. i do miss him, try not to let that happen,but if you have stronger feelings towards this gut then talk to him in a fairly light hearted way and get to the bottom of it, but try not to let it ruin what you already have... good luck x

He is trying to tell you in a way that he does not get hurt. He wants to know how you feel about him without having to come clean and admit that he likes you. Give it some time and see if there is really a wonderful girl or if it is you and he just needs time. If you are not seeing anyone then just tell him that you are single and looking for a mister wonderful. Just play his game if you like him.. It is all about the game of life and good luck

i think he does like you but doesn't want to ask you out before he knows you like him. He keeps telling you how great this girl is because he wants to see if you get jealous about this "girlfriend" of his or not. He's probably one of those guys who wants to know if a girl he likes likes him back, so thats why hes making up this wonderful girl but not giving her name, looks, etc.

Take a deep breath.........don't fly off the handle....think about it..could it be that he's gay? and he daren't tell you WHO he's in love with because he doesn't want to loose your friendship and support; this could explain why he is so keen to hear about your 'love life'.
MAYBE it would be easier for him to 'come out' to you if he was comfortable knowing that you weren't fixing your sights on HIM!
Just a thought.

u r seeing some1?ask him as a friend to tell u who she is.if he won,t say then ask him if it isn,t u. if he still doesn, t ,tell him it is putting a strain on ur friendship as the air needs to be cleared.and that u both need to sort out exactly what type of friendship u want

Sound like its you... But be careful - if you only like him as a mate - keep it that way - talk to him - he'll deny it - but thats what he wants..
If however you like him - talk to him - suggest doing things together - ask him out.....

Us guys do NOT get subtle hints. Say stuff like " I bet I could like you more " completely un subtle things but it works. Remember it doesn't matter if he doesn't like you ; it doesn't matter who it is but it is the most flattering thing to a guy if you say you fancy him. EVEN if he doesn't like you.
