No, animals do not have souls. God created them solely for man's use and pleasure. Man, and ONLY man, was created in the image of God, and therefore has a soul, and therefore may enter heaven. Sorry.

here's the thing. The bible hints at heaven many times. It talks about a rainbow around the throne, which suggests an atmosphere and moisture. It talks about gold and gems, which suggests some earth-like elements. It talks about Horses and chariots, which suggests that yes, in fact, there are animals in heaven.

All dogs go to heaven my friend. Of that, there can be no doubt!!!
Of course he has a soul!! Look I'm no scientist, but how can you even question that? That's why we must take care of our beloved pets, they are such a part of us.
We are so lucky to have them for companions.

Yes he will be waiting for you on the other side. Yes animals have souls...if they didn't, they wouldn't have personalities. The eyes are the window to the soul.

Animals are probably better loved by God cauz humans are the ones doing bad things and evil deeds all the time. I think our pets should be the ones praying for us and not the other way around.

Most Christian churches say no.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believes that animals have spirits as well. They believe animals will be in Heaven just as they were in the garden of Eden.

I don't know about animals. I have lost pets that I loved with all my heart. I asked Jesus if it were possible, could I see them again in heaven. However, if that is not possible, I always will bend my knee to His will..whatever it may be.

Heaven is meant to be a place where you are happy and with your loved ones. Your dog is a loved one so I reckon he will.
