It's where Pres. Bush took the Prime Minister of Japan. I went there for the first time. It was DELICIOUS!! Has anyone else been there? What did you like/dislike about it?

i live in Memphis. the rendezvous most of the time is a hit and miss type of situation. they are way over priced and the staff is aloof to say the least. the side portion are small and very crowded. Leonard's barbecue does not have the atmosphere but their barbecue is 10 times better than the rendezvous and a lot cheaper. if you go to Leonard's always order the ribs from the menu. their buffet is to die for especially on Sunday's!!!

I was very not impressed with Rendezvous. I was hoping to be able to order BBQ that was beef, turkey or chicken (I dont eat pork). I went on a Wed at lunch and was told that on Wed at lunch, they only serve pork. The hostess said I could order a salad though; But when the waiter came and I asked for that, he was standoff and rude. He said "Lady all we got is pork". I walked out and will not return. I like to dine where service comes with a smile - not a disgruntled waiter that is going to make my dining experience negative.

Yes, I have been once and really liked it. But I live in Memphis. So the whole thing with the President was on like all our radio stations for like a week.
