I asked this girl out on date and she rejected me. She's saying that she is seeing someone right now and try to work out things out with that guy and she also said that we can be friend? Does this mean she's still interest in me and do I have any shot at all?

if she rejected you, then forget her and move on to another. If she is thinking about you then she might think' "he's the one i almost let slip away guy." if you are still interested in her at that time then take her. what ever you do don't keep after her. she will think you're desperate.
