I have curly hair and have tried all the brands of shampoo to find the best. You have to get Trevor sorbie shampoo and conditioner for curly and frizz prone hair. It is absolutely the best. You can get it from larger boots stores and it comes in a pink bottle. He also does a deep conditioning treatment which i also recommend. You can get a curl cream to style your curly hair but don't use to much as you end up with clumps of curls not lovely soft curls. They cost about £4.95 each but boots normally have an offer on buy 2 get 3rd free. hope this helps

Loreal Serie Expert Professionel - only sold at salons or you can get it from ebay for a much better price - this stuff in amazing. I know for curly hair they make Shine Curl or if coarseness is a problem they make anotehr line called Liss Extreme. There are also power doses in this line that you can get done in the salon for about $20 a treatment - hair looks and feels different immediately. The line carries shampoo, conditioner, masques and styling aids for each type of line ?(curly, blonde, color, shine, liss extreme, volume, etc. ) It is great - better than anything I have ever used.

Origins organic shampoo for curly hair, don't use pantene, it will break your hair and possibly give you dandruff.
For curly hair you want natural ingredients so your hair doesn't look dull and puffy out of control.
I highly recommend origins, or Paul Mitchell's treatments for curly, frizzy hair.
they are a little more expensive than the average shampoos and conditioners, but they are worth every penny!

There is a shampoo that I have used for quite some time. It is called Creme of Nature by Colomer USA. It not only cleans your hair, it also has a good conditioner in the shampoo which helps your hair.

The Infusium 23 line. My hair's very curly, it tends to get frizzy, dry and out of control. Infusium takes care of all that. I use the "Moisturizing" shampoo, followed by the "Anti Friz" conditioner, and they also have a great leave-in treatment when you're having a really bad hair day.

I have naturally curly hair and my significant other picked up some Pantene pro v hydrating curls for me. I'm usually a skeptic about hair products but I have to say that this stuff is beyond awesome!! There is a conditioner that goes with it and I've been using both for about 6 months and my hair has never looked better.

Try the Super Skinny line by Paul Mitchell. I usually buy the liters of shampoo and conditioner when they go on sale at the salons. I get them for about $25 for both, and they last me about 6 months! They totally deflate frizz and cut blow drying or diffusing time in half. I don't even have to use any kind of product afterwards, not even gel.

I actually have people ask me all the time what I do with my curls, and it's extremely flattering. For a while I used Pantene Pro-V for curls and followed it up either damp or dry with Rusk Wired (it shapes and moisturizes my curls). I just recently switched over to Dove for Intense damage, or something like that. The dark blue bottle. I never noticed it until I tried Dove, but Pantene actually weighed my hair down- giving me volume everywhere but on top, which made my hair look weird. Dove helps me keep volume on top, so things are more even. I still follow it up with Rusk, but I find less need for sculpting with Dove.
