YES! Everyone keeps asking how and I knew it's about diet and exercise. I was tired of the stinkin' 2 pounds a week, so I just DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I did 4 protein shakes a day mixed with ice, fruit and skim milk (340 cals each shake) and I did cardio in the mornings, HARD for 45 minutes, cardio at night HARD (I mean SWEATIN!!!) for 90 minutes every night. I did weight-training/toning every other day for 60 minutes (so 4 times this last 9 days) and I drank ONLY WATER - abotu a gallon a day. WOW! 18 pounds GONE. Today I'm eating again, but plan to continue this for the last 10 pounds and then SLOWLY go back to a "normal" workout and food. This takes DEDICATION, but my GOD it is worth it!!!

Very unhealthy. Too much protein. Obsessive exercise. No real food.

Hello, Many experts believe you should not try to lose more than 2 pounds per week. Losing more than 2 pounds in a week usually means that you are losing water weight and breaking down muscle mass instead of losing fat. If you do this, you will have less energy, and you will probably gain the weight back. I would say losing 18 pound weight by the end of June which is your goal, may not be achieved. It's always safe to go slow and gain the results, otherwise you may gain the weight quicker. Also avoid sugar and oily products. According to my own experience, losing one pound per week is more realistic and bring long lasting results.. I also know you will still look wonderful with the weight you have while losing weight gradually. All the best

Congratulations about losing the weight. However 18 pounds in 9 days sounds really unhealthy. Your only eating 1360 calories a day. Which might be good for a diet without the exercise. But with all that intense exercise you could be doing more harm than good by eating too few calories. just be careful.

Avoid thinking in terms of weight. Instead be concerned with body-fat %. Even if you were to loose say 20 pounds in one week you are getting fatter, because as your body "eats" it's own muscle tissue your body-fat % increases causing your metabolism to slow down. As soon as you start eating again you will put on more fat due to the reduction in lean muscle mass. What you are considering has been attempted millions of times with absolutely horrible results. In the end you still have to do what it takes to be healthy: Eat 4-6 small healthy meals daily, avoid eating a lot of carbs before bed, exercise regularly with cardio AND resistance training and respect your body. Just think in one year or even ten years from now you will have to do the right thing for your health, no matter how fast or how much you loose in the next week.

Glad your GLAD, just make sure you incorporate a vitamin supplement with that shake. Remember when you sweat you lose all the essential minerals that keep your mind, body and soul happy!

Take a Centrum along with all that water, remember to supplement your vitamin B complex, and C if you are during cardio.

Losing that much weight that fast is unhealthy, and ultimately you will just gain it all back because your body was unable to adjust. Try to slow down a little if you want to be healthy.

That's GREAT!!!!! But I just hope that you aren't one of those skinny girls that thinks she needs to lose weight. It's understandable if you are on the heavy side but if you are of an average weight for your age and height then you don't need to lose too much weight. Anyway YAY FOR YOU!!!!!

That is great and good for you. Please don't let anyone bring you down or try to make you feel bad. It sounds like a lot of work and now you are seeing the benefits.
