English........British..??? a cultural crisis ??

In England at present there is a underlying resentment ( quite rightly) against 'british asians' that have murdered innocent people through acts of suicide/terrorist bombings.
They -the Asians-are born here, educated here,and are now bombing us here. England to them is nothing more than a rocky Island to far from 'home' of which they have a spiritual indoctrine from their parents taught to them on a daily basis............." English people" however dont need the whispered utterings of a toothless
relative to have the ' essence'of what it is to be English.
Let me give this simple anecdote........No Asians lay with the English dead at Hastings against the Normans,....no asians fought
with the English at Agincourt against the the french ( of which the English have a thousand years of rival affinity)...there is no record in the Royal College of Arms that bears the name "patel"......
as far as i am concerned, Liniage is by birthright ,not learned.

true. multiculturalism just doesnt work. if our laws werent so messed up now there wouldnt be so much off a problem. Asians dont want to be here and we dont want them here.
Our law and culture is respect for animals, equal rights for woman, no forced marriages, and human rights for all.
Asians dont believe this and want to have their own laws in this country and refuse to intergrate and become part of our society.
I dont care where you come from or if your bright green with orange horns. If you come from another country and go to live in another you can not expect it to be the same as your own. You have to accept the indiginous populations laws and their culture.
I would never move to a muslim country because i believe animals have rights, woman have rights and other human beings have rights. I would never just go there and expect them to change their whole beliefs and way of life just because i've moved there!
If i didnt like it there and couldnt accept their way of life i would leave.

I am not rasist in the slightist and i have a funny feeling that neither are you but i agree with every word you say. the majority of the asian community are decent people but you get those that take libities against the country which has raised them, fed them and housed them since birth.
i blame the religion rather than the race, such an ambigous holy book is asking for trouble, terrorists can read into it what they want and believe that what they are doing is for the good of their people and their god. Malta have got it right and are now rebelling against the number of immigrants entering their country, it is only a matter of time before the people of England do the same, when that time comes i want to make sure i am on holiday somewhere far away.

No Asians fought against the British at Hastings and there are no english names in the Qur'an.
We used toi be at war with America, but that seems to be a bit of history you dont want to use.
You really cant pick and choose things just because in your head they justify your hatred of somthing you dont understand.
Yes, there are Asians here that have been influenced enough to kill us.
Just 20 years ago there were anglo irish who did the same thing and they had never seen a Quar'an.
You cant fight the root of a problem by hating a whole caste of people.

Quite profound...... I think we are losing our British Identity with the influx of Asian immigrants. We are a small island slowly sinking under the weight of immigrants both legal & illegal. It is time to close our borders and take account of who should be here or not. Let's get rid of the hanger's on who are taking the great British taxpayer's for a ride. It's OUR country. It's BRITAIN, and we are being overrun. I don't want to appear to sound racist, because I do not feel I am, but when events like Gidion's bibles are removed from hosptal bedside locker's 'not to upset muslims' (as happened in Leicestershire Trust Hospitals) then how are we meant to react. I will finish by saying MP Enoch Powell hit the nail on the head in the 60's when he said in Parliment, "Beware the black tide." He was criticised, by many, but he wasn't a million miles out was he?

spot on, english is by blood. is a massive difference between british (which is an administrative term and derived from a govt passport) and english/Scottish/Welsh/Irish)

Asians aren't english, never will be. They are british.

English = anglo saxon, its a race.

Doesnt mean there's anything wrong with being asian. it's just they arent english. Yet watch them support England football team and India/Pakistan cricket. it's hard for British asians to know what to do - doesnt stop me taking the piss though. Next time you see a British asian supporting india at the cricket ask him why he doesnt support thwm at football.

I wasn't born in this country, however both my parents are English. Does that mean I'm not English.....no of course not.
Home is where your heart is as far as I'm concerned, regardless of who you are or where you are from.
Not all Brittish born asians and terrorists, I think you need to get a life quite frankly because the only thing that hate generates...is more hate.

Problem is, as well as being told to tolerate these people, we also have to Politically Correct, which in one way is saying "Good god man, dont offend him!". Im the farthest thing from racist, i couldnt care less where you come from. To be fair, if you come to my country and ignore our laws then so be it. Just dont do it in public. I dont care what you do in your own home. But when our own Government say we cant fly English flags because its offensive, i wonder who put these PC idiots in power in the first place. If i moved to Iran tomorrow i most certainly wouldnt be allowed to be English, i would be told to start reading the Koran and told to pray each other hour, which i would do as its a new culture and i wouldnt want to offend. Blend in, not blend out. Thats not racist, its a country losing its own culture because of a crap Government.

There is an element of truth here. England is experiencing a backlash from within, from a community we have long been told to be tolerant of and to intergrate with. To respect them as we think they respect us. But this has changed, and what are we expected to do about it? To continue to be tolerant, to continue to embrace the foreigner who sneers at us and disrespects us? Who harms us? How long does anyone think this situation will go on before there is a backlash againt any community preaching hatred against us? We have to wake up and smell the coffee here. We are closer than we think.......and when it comes woe betide us all...........

If a person is born in England then they are English, and sould by rights adhere to all English laws and regulations as should any person living in England
