I'm in the same boat. Been like that for almost five years. Depression can actually harm anything, even your religious life. If it has anything to do with love problems, then your emotions are sure to take a beating, I should know that cuz that was my main problem. Physically is usually overkill, cuz depression can lead to thoughts of suicide, and I've known some of my friends to actually cut themselves just to watch their blood roll. It's sad really, what they've gone through to be like that. I know not to resort to anything like that, cuz I know that even if life seems at it's worse, ending it isn't the best cure. We learn from what we experience, so we can use it in the future. If you are going through anything depressing, just hang through it, it'll subside with time. Never resort to anything that could make it worse, cuz that'll just ruin your life more. I've been in depression in love related problems for five years and I'm still hanging in there. I was even born with a weak heart, so I know everyone else can get better, too, if I can recover quickly. Hope my words help.

Well, the Cymbalta commercial says "depression hurts." Personally, I haven't experienced physical pain from depression. At least I don't THINK I have. I have pains now and then, but I think it's more due to the fact that I'm 41 years old, and not from depression. I could be wrong, though.

Both are part of the same person. Despite where the hurt starts, it's sometimes hard to say which hurts more I've noticed.
