Where ever she works ask for something she couldn't possible have like asking a pizza girl for a taco. Bounce that kind of stuff off her and if shes interested you should be able to slip in a "well I gotta go find what you were looking for but I would like to talk to you again and ask when she works next or gets off or has a break, whichever feels right for the situation. If she gives you an answer that's a go for come see me again. It will work nicely because you will be on neutral ground when you go see her again, and dint make it a long stay, then tell her you've decided shes not one of those crazy stalkers, sort of like what your doing to her, and that you would like to take her for some tea/coffee and some stimulating conversation. What your doing is qualifying her and stating you can make time for her instead of the other way around. Good luck if you try it out.
