well if you have a newer model car with all those stupid computor chips or electrical sensors you more than likely will fry the system... you could also reverse polarity on your alternator, .. if your jumping off a vehicle and reverse the cables your lucky if you dont blow the battery up in your face... like i tell my son... RED IS POSITIVE BLACK IS NEGATIVE.. If you still arent sure PLEASE ASK SOMEONE!!

I wouldn't do that. I know someone who didn't do the wiring on the battery properly when he was hooking it up. The battery blew up and he lost an eye. He was lucky. It could have been much worse.

If the car doesn't start after this - all sorts of electrical problems possible. Even the engine computer could be damaged in some cases.

You will probably blow out the computer and/or the alternator, and a lot of other components.

If it's only for a quick second or so, sometimes you are lucky and NOTHING happens.....good luck.

Can I watch you do it? I need a good laugh.

You might blow the computers. At least you'd blow the fusible link--assuming your car is lucky enough to have one. It would probably fry the starter, too.

Any way, you'd induce complete electrical failure in your car's wiring...and, probably, blow the battery up.

obviously it won't work since its a one way electricity system. not like some cheap flashlight that goes both ways. Look, don't even try or you'll blow yourself open.
