Concrete, Pour a block of concrete under the fence. Or bury more fence (chicken wire) or something down 6 inches and a couple of feet into the yard. Or run a electric fence wire around the perimeter of the yard (low voltage) you buy a electric fencer ,wire and insulators at a farm store.

well, you can get hot wire and run it about 1 foot above the ground along the fence, so when he gets close, it will shock him. you can get barbed wire and do the same with that. or you can take and put gravel along the bottom of the fence about 1 to 2 feet out, and a few inches deep, then keep his nails cut short so that it hurts him to dig. I have tried all three with sucess on all.

Good luck though, after I went to all that trouble, he learned he could jump the fence..

If you havent installed a tension wire on the bottom of that fence you need to. other than that line the bottom of the fence with large rocks. good basketball size rocks. that will stop the dog. The other way is to build a cement retaining wall under that fence.

Refill, and repair the dug up area, and simply lay a piece of chain link fencing over it. The dog can't dig through it, but the grass, flowers, etc. can, and the mower will pass right over it, when it's time to mow the lawn!

hope i helped (: good luck!!

You can always put the invisable fence up. They then wear a collor and if they get close to it it beeps. If they get closer it will shock them. they then soon learn when they hear the first beep they will sit down or back up and not go near the fence again.

Put a low voltage hot wire around the bottom "inside" of the chain link fence.

When he digs a hole, put his feces in it, "he won't dig there again"

Put some big bits of rock or bricks there. Our dogs do it to without realising that they will fall off the edge of a mountain if they get through.

Put his poop along the fence, dogs don't like walking in or smelling their own crap. This is a quick and cheap method.
