Pardon? Are you saying that your pals daughter is being abused by someone damaging her scalp with 5 pence pieces and you are asking what you should do. WHAT DO YOU THINK? Inform the authorities ASAP, this damage may only be the tip of the iceberg. Confront your pal first and ask him about them. Even if there is an explaination and it seems feasible you will feel so bad if you ignore it and turns out to be something very serious.
By the way, how do you know it is 5 pences that are responsible for these pits as you call them? Very strange!
PS If it is nits get the poor little soul treated and report it to the school. Thats if she goes to school!!!
I think your taking the P**S out of everybody!
Any progress yet as at 1/08/06

If you mean nits (head lice) try using tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner (buy supermarket brand or own brands, health food shops are usually more expensive) Also buy some tea tree oil, (available from all good chemist) Shampoo the hair and then put a good dollop of conditioner in your hand and mix about 5-6 drops of the tea tree oil with the tea tree conditioner. (smooth onto the hair and comb through, leave for about 10 minutes and then comb through small sections of hair using a nit comb. checking comb for nits. Do this every time you wash the hair and eventually you will be rid of the nits and also help prevent getting them back. Also you could put some water and a few drops of tea tree oil into a water spray bottle and spray the hair each day before your child goes to school. Obviously you do need to do a patch test to make sure your child is not allergic to the tea tree products. I used this method when my daughter was at school and it really did help.
Good luck
