There are no soldiers in the Airforce...lol, just Airmen.....I'm laughing so hard I can't type.
The Airforce offers many classes of which I took several. I held three AFSE's and became the only Senior Airmen in the history of the Airforce to become a Senior Aircrew Officer. I still wear my badge proudly.
Youw ant College they got it and then some.
The Airforce is highly motivated to say the least and T-Bone steak in the chow halls...lol what Chow Halls....they have Morrisons wiht full buffet all you can eat...The Airforce is not like the Army. We have hot showers in the field and make Beer runs....lol
I'm not joking here...The Air Force is highly motivated.

Wow, you do have some work to do.
First, the people in Airforce are not soldiers, they are Airmen. Second, it is not like eveyone takes the same classes, the jobs and schooling are as varied as the different majors in college. I recommend you talk to your local recruiter, do some serious research into what you want to do before you take a leap. As it stands now, I don't think you have much idea about what you are getting into.

i'm not sure what you mean by classes? i was in the army and i went throught basic training first then i went to my mos(job) school to learn how to be a medic as that was my chosen job. whatever you pick as far as a job in the military will always help you in life. you can pick something that you can use or transfer over to in the civilian job market, ie, I was a medic so i could be a medical assistant. i could have gone to RN school and then been a civilian RN. A military fireman can be a civilian fireman, an mp(military police) can join the civiian police force. I have never for one minute regretted my decision to join the army as it has helped me become the confident hard working, nothing is impossible type person i am today. Take advantag of all the schools the air force may offer you after you have enlisted, you can continue to take other schools. be a sponge and soak up all the knowledge and experience the military has to offer a young person.

Classes in the AF...Well first you have to see what job you can get into. Its going to be tough to get in at all because of the manning problem we have. The only job I have know people to be getting is linguist (speaking another laungage).
As for classes....You will go to Basic Training and then off to tech school....After tech school you will become a 3 level in your job.
After that you will receive your CDC (Career Development Course) which you will have to study and pass a test in order to become a 5-level
Next is when you become a E4 Sra - You will have to go to ALS (Airman Leadership School) which they train you to become an NCO. You need this course before you can pin on SSgt.
As a SSgt you will be issued some more CDC's so that you can study again for your 7-level
Then when you get promoted to TSgt you will have to attend the NCO Course which trains you basically to become a better NCO and to prepare you to become a SNCO.
After that you will become a SNCO and yep you guesses it you will have to go to the SNCO academy. You will also have to study again to become a 9-level.
Those are all the Professional Development Courses...You will go to more classes through out your carrer to become more proficent in your job.
A lot of people use the military as a scape goat so they wouldnt have to go to college (I did, I was tired of school) but guess what. Once you join the military your school is just starting.
I dont know if you understood everthing I was talking about with Airman, NCO, and SNCO so here is the tier...
AB-SRA = Airman Tier
SSgt-TSgt = NCO Tier
MSgt-CMSgt = SNCO Tier
Oh and one more thing - In order to make rank in the AF you will take a 100 question test on your CDC's and another 100 question test on your PME (Professional Military Education) book. The PME is the hardest to study cause you can easily fall asleep after reading just one page its so boring but its all about AF history, Customs and Courtesies, etc....
IN THE AF STUDYING NEVER STOPS
Hope that helps if you have anymore guestions just let me know. Take care

They would vary a lot depending on what your job is to be in the Air Force ... for example, pilots take very different classes than radar specialits.

the military has a notably sturdy combatives application(comparable to wrestling/martial arts) that in case you connect a strive against MOS you've gotten the prospect to participate in education and certification stages. it isn't for the susceptible even if. maximum adult males who went by aspect a million combatives had to spar with the coach who actually knocked maximum of them out.
