There are many clubs with web sites out there. There you will find those who are in the know. A good place to start would be www.trainmountain.com. This a museum as well as a live steam modeler's club.

In the meantime, I would suggest no more steaming until you are educated in this area. Steamers do explode. If lack of knowledge produces one, at the least you will loose your locomotive, or pay with debilitating injuries or death.

Maisie is a lovely little loco, but as the other person who answered you quite rightly says, whatever you do, don't steam it up again until you are with someone who knows what they are doing with it.
Small though it is, if the pressure gets too high, the resulting explosion can be devastating, and possibly fatal. This is not a toy.
You best idea is to find a model engineering club near to you. many towns have one, a search on google should find you one, if you have trouble, please contact me and I will try to help you find one.
Does the boiler have a recent safety test certificate? If not, you will need one before you can use it safely. These locos have been around for many years, and if yours is an old one it could be in an unsafe condition.
Once you have sorted all this out, and had proper tuition to drive it, you should have loads of fun with it.
