it doesn't have to suck...i mean just cause you are single doesn't mean you can't go out..i think people that are single should go out on the weekends. so no it doesn't suck life is what you make it. you can sit at home and feel sorry for yourself on the weekends or go out and have some fun...its up to you

You think it sucks now, just wait till you get married and cant afford to go out, that sucks.
and then when you split up and your skint and cant go out that sucks even worse.
what im waiting for next is the depression of staying in my mothers at the age of 37 because im paying child support and mortgage, living on £100 per month.

Everybody always lives for the weekend. Why wait for Fri. to have a good time? You can do it any day of the week, only difference is if you have to get up early the next day you just have to get in earlier. I go out on the weekday, its better and not as crowded. Friday is my relax day from the busy week.

Depends on the reason you are 'in' on a Friday night.
If you have to work Saturday, then it's for your rest.
If it's cause you want to be then...all the more power to you.
If it's cause you couldn't find/get something to do, then do some thinking.. what do you want to be doing? why aren't you doing that? Then ask yourself again: why am i in a Friday night?
...enjoy these times when you only have yourself to dictate what you do on any given day. These times when it's just you to decide to go anywhere and not have to consult with a significant other.

it sucks to be in on ANY night.....
but as a single mum i dont get out much and havent done for a while so im kind of used to it now, though it still bums me out when people ring me to tell me "everyone's" out!
apparently i am a no one not an everyone..... lol

It can do, but not always.
You can always turn your computer on and discover something or someone!
If you do it week after week after week then it can become really bad.
Go out tomorrow night. It's Saturday! In fact, go out at lunch time and get ratted in the beer garden at the local.

personally i like to send some me time. i like getting into the bath and reading a good book. but sometimes i want to go out with someone. they don't seem to want to ask me out, so i ask them. most of the time they say no. but the good thing about that is that you can go out with your friends to a club and flirt up a storm and dance with anyone that strikes your fancy. hope this helped!

I don't understand why it's such a big deal. I think people who think it's such a big deal are just desperate and they honestly don't have any hobbies or other things to think about besides feeling sorry for themselves.
