I keep having horrible dreams... always involving me and/or my family getting shot/killed. And they are so vivid that it seems real. Why do I keep having these dreams that never seem to stop?

First, stop worrying about the dreams. Dreams really don't mean anything. But if you worry about WHY you have those dreams all the time, you will keep having them. Persoanlly, I think you just need a change in your life - a change in routine. Maybe a different job, a new set of hobbies, a new bunch of freinds... just something to change the trajectory of your life and thinking a bit.

I'm not an expert though. If you're really concerned. you can talk to a therapist. Tell us how you are doing...

Love, Jack

I have a ordinary dream. I might have it four to five occasions every week for over two decades. I now most effective have it three or four occasions a 12 months. Always the identical dream. A village of folks, approximately 60 of them, all ladies and kids, and all mutilated horribly given that a North Vietnamese soldier determined an American sweet bar wrapper at the flooring. I can not keep any of them, they're all useless. Then a giant explosion and there are piles of useless laying throughout me. That's whilst I get up and discover that it isn't only a dream, however a reminiscence.

I am not qualified to interpret dreams, but it is said they exist in the subconscious, and are deep-seated manifestations of fear. They are also symbolic, and sometimes bear no relationship whatsoever to what you're dreaming about. For example, a common dream; that of losing one's teeth, does not necessarily mean a fear of the dentist. What it could signify is a fear of losing a loved one. Perhaps a talk with a therapist might help to uncover what your subconscious mind may be trying to tell you. Sometimes hypnosis is helpful also.
