I love this song and I love this line.
A lot of "rappers" make songs bout GOD and don't release them on the radio. He tricked the radio stations. If after saying that, they didn't play the song, how would that make them look?
He got GOD on radio stations that don't play religous music.
He is just an artist speaking his mind, and that's what real artists do. He doesn't stop to think if his song is going to please everyone, he just speaks from his soul. But even if he did care what everyone thought, and taylored his style to that, it wouldn't stop the HATERS from hating. To quote one of his songs:
You see, if you ever wanted to ever be anything
There'd always be somebody that shoot down any dream
There'll always be haters, that's the way it is
hater ni**as marry hater bi**hes and have hater kids
But they gon' have to take my life 'fore they take my drive
'Cause when I was barely livin, that's what kept me alive
So the line is true. Period. And keep hating, because "all that talking i feed off... keep it up.

It's got a great beat- but probably not a song to reflect "truths" about Jesus. Not sure who "they is".
It's America people can rap about anything they want. It's the individual responsibility of the artist to determine what kind of message he wants to send and while there is always room to offend people-- it's at the artist's discretion. Just like it is a radio stations' perrogative to not play a record if it offends its listeners and may result in losing listeners.
i like the beat of Kanye's song i don't necessarily agree with what he's saying... but Kanye has to answer to Jesus one day and that's between the two of them... He'd be wise though to consider people's reactions (as artists are ultimately nothing without their fans)...

This is my own personal belief. I don't think that God, the Lord Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit should be used in any form of song that would degrade them. I don't like rap anyway. But I am not talking of just rap. Any song that would down or degrade the Trinity is wrong.

He is right. If he talks about Jesus and starts living for the Lord he will be dropped like a hot potato. It is an upside down world we live in; the very thing we should encouraging people to sing and talk about they can't.
If he truly feels this way he could cross over and rap under for a Christian recording company.

That is probably a commentary on our present U.S. society. Money seems to be God to many; perhaps that explains part of why the beast in Revelation 17 is the USA.

It's just saying that unfortunately our society is based on things that are unholy and when something a little deeper pops up in the media they don't want to say anything for whatever reasons they may have?

It's true too, it's easier to blend into the world when we are worldy or easier to be accepted.
