um, no.
For example, all those people who lived before Jesus, or all the ones in tribes, or in far off lands who never heard the gospel or anything of God before they died are not nessaccarily going to hell. If they, throughout their lives, searched the best that they could for God, and were good and moral people, then they will not go to hell.
True ignorance does not equal damnation.
Although, This puts a heavy burden on those who have heard the Word of God, to make the choice to believe or to deny. It also puts more responsibility on Christians. This might be hard for some to hear, but not all Christians go to heaven. For example, Hitler, he might have called himself a Christian, but he did not follow any of the doctrine, or teachings of the Church in anyway, he was more of a demonic hypocrite in my opinion.

NO> everyone that lives a good life has a chance of going to heaven. All we have to do is repent of our sins...The next step is at Judgement day, when EVERYONE will get a chance to accept or reject Jesus Christ as lord and savior. The things is Christians (Catholics) will be punished far greater than someone who didn't know Christ before entering heaven. Christains have the higher responsibiltiy since they know of Jesus commandments ahead of time>

In my Catholic upbringing, which included Catholic grade school and confirmation, we learned that only really bad people go to hell...other people, if they are good to other people, the world, etc. can still end up in heaven, if they love others above all.....
It isn't really like the strict Protestant interpretation...

Yes,also according to them the world is flat, all other Christians are heretics, and many many things according to them for others are wrong. They dont want to see what is according to other people.
But God is not what the Catholic think He is.God has now shown that their assumptions were all wrong.Wrong assumptions will not give the right equation to God.Just think about it.

Why do so many religions say the nonbelievers go to hell? If Islam is correct, what happens to Christians? What about the others? There are too many religions. None are correct.

The church teaches that all those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ MAY be saved if they cooperate with the grace that God provides, and they are true to the natural law which God writes in the hearts of all men.
God is the judge. He decides. None of us have an absolute assurance of being saved.
We operate under the blessed hope of being saved through Jesus Christ and his grace.

Nope. She teaches (and has for 2000 years) that there are non-normative means to salvation.
If you are serious about learning about the church that Jesus Christ established you can start here: http://www.catholic.com/library/Pillar.asp

In my own experience (My In-Laws) they don't think that. Although they do think that it is the BEST way, not really the ONLY way. But that is only coming from what I know.
