I visited the Ann Wigmore Institute(link above) for a two week period where I learned about the Raw foods lifestyle and complementary alternative treatments. While there I met a young man that had ms, he claimed that he had been in a wheelchair and had been getting progressively worse despite trying many types of treatments including the conventional, interferon, betaseron etc.,along with alternative methods such as mega vitamin drips and herbal protocols, but without much success. At the time I met him he was doing great, walking, and he stated that his speech, which had been affected by his disease, had improved. According to him the lifestyle learned at Ann Wigmores was the only "therapy" that had truly made a difference in his life. He was very dedicated to maintaining his wellness and adhered totally to the program. It is basically raw foods, something called "energy soup "which is made from a combination of greens and other things, wheat grass juice, rejuvelac( a fermented beverage)and other foods such as sprouts, seeds, fruits. I have not stuck with the program since coming home but I do incorporate many raw fresh foods in my diet and also use other healthful treatments that I learned there. Their beliefs are basically centered on the bodies ability to heal itself if given the right tools to be able to do so, including the importance of proper eliminations. The institute is in Puerto Rico, it is relatively cheap and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone that wants to learn about keeping themselves healthy and certainly to anyone that is suffering from any so called incurable ailment. Good Luck and may God bless you!
