If you have pets put flea collars or flea drops on them, if you have carpet take some excess flea collar put some in the canister/bag of your vacuum. and vacuum as much as possible, and get some flea spray(the stuff that you can use on your couch, chair's etc.) then as a last resort if they don't go away after that then use bug bombs... bug bombs are such a pain cause you have to do so much.

sorry bout your flea problem & good luck with killing those stupid bugs:) I hate fleas they bite me all to pieces
p.s. putting flea coller in vac kills the ones in there so that they don't hatch, and killing the ones that get sucked up

Be prepared to stay away for a couple of days while you let the bug bombs do their work-brand isn't as important as following the instructions. I used more bombs than they recommended on the second try because on the first round it didn't clear up the problem. ( the girl who lived here before me apparently had flea-bit cats) Put a fresh flea collar inside your vacuum cleaner bag and change the collar out when it needs to be changed, even if the bag isn't full yet. If you have a hand held vacuum for your furniture do the same thing. I also had to spray my furniture separately with Raid as the little pests get down into the cracks, then vacuum out. This has helped the most to keep reinfestations from occuring.

My sympathies. Our cat brought some in, and they are hard to get rid of. (Dog fleas stay on the dog.) We waited until the weekend, then got a Raid bomb. You put it in the middle of the house, set it off, and leave. We spent the day in San Francisco, doing tourist things. We ate out (2 meals), rode the cable cars, etc. Late in the evening, we returned home to a place that smelled like Dow Chemical. It was awful. It took 3 weeks to get rid of the smell. But the fleas were gone, and never came back.

Read the directions on the bomb (can I leave out dried foods, what should be removed from the house, etc), and follow closely. Good luck.

well, before you flea bomb, take all your sheets and wash/dry them before you put them back on them beds, keep them outside or in the washer/dryer and dust your floors with flea/pet powders and then bug bomb your house. when you get back, vacuum the powder and wait a while till you get your sheets back on your bed.. thats where most hide at, cause the sheets stay warm and they bite you during the night. wait about half a day after the bug bombs to put the bedding back together and cleaning the powders off the floors and you should have no more fleas. if its an infestation, bathe your pets and call an exterminator.

if you canot win there is only 2 things you can do;

1 - join them.

2 - accept defeat and move.

there is a 3rd one but i think you are not interested in,
become the proud owner of a circus of fleas...

call an exterminator...wash your pets and get rid their bedding. vacuum your carpets and throw away the vacumm bag immediately. if an exterminator is not an option then i would try anything by Zodiac...it sells at any Petsmart

Bomb the house! You can buy the bombs at the hardware store.
Do not attempt to use the "non chemical" way - it will not kill them.
Good luck - I know they're awful.
