coming from a completely scientific standpoint- the theory of evolution holds no water- it is countless times proved to be a ridiculous and unfeasible theory- and yes, I know the scientific definition of theory- unfortunately some scientists had a lot of people duped and by the time certain things were proven hoaxes, people were running with this foolish idea because it is much easier to believe than to believe that there is a God that we are actually going to have to be accountable to one day. Here are some scientific facts regarding evolution:
I urge you to use discernment, reason and logic when thinking aobut evolution- all the things evolutionists accuse us of not using , but really- do the principles of evolution make sense? If this has taken place over the course of millions of years, little by little, then we are being decieved when we are told we are looking for "the missing link" we are looking for millions of missing links- besides that- there are so many common sense, scientific questions that evolution just cannot answer- no matter how you twist it.
If you are really interested in education and not just disproving something that does not fit your mold- read this article, it is fun reading but very informative and common sense-

here are other bits of interesting fact for you to ponder :
Charles Dawson, a British lawyer and amateur geologist announced in 1912 his discovery of pieces of a human skull and an apelike jaw in a gravel pit near the town of Piltdown, England . . . Dawson's announcement stopped the scorn cold. Experts instantly declared Piltdown Man (estimated to be 300,000 to one million years old), the evolutionary find of the century. Darwin's missing link had been identified. Or so it seemed for the next 40 or so years. Then, in the early fifties . . . scientists began to suspect misattribution. In 1953, that suspicion gave way to a full-blown scandal: Piltdown Man was a hoax . . . tests proved that its skull belonged to a 600-year-old woman, and its jaw to a 500-year-old orangutan from the East Indies." Our Times--the Illustrated History of the 20th Century (Turner Publishing, 1995, page 94).
Science Fiction
The Piltdown Man fraud wasn't an isolated incident. The famed "Nebraska Man" was built from one tooth, which was later found to be the tooth of an extinct pig. "Java Man" was found in the early 20th Century, and was nothing more than a piece of skull, a fragment of a thigh bone and three molar teeth. The rest came from the deeply fertile imaginations of plaster of Paris workers. "Heidelberg Man" came from a jawbone, a large chin section and a few teeth. Most scientists reject the jawbone because it's similar to that of modem man. Still, many evolutionists believe that he's 250,000 years old. No doubt they pinpointed his birthday with good old carbon dating. Now there's reliable proof. Not according to Time magazine (June 11, 1990). They published an article in the science section that was subtitled, "Geologists show that carbon dating can be way off." Don't look to "Neanderthal Man" for any evidence of evolution. Recent genetic DNA research indicates the chromosomes do not match those of humans. They do match those of bipedal primates (apes).
What does Science Say?
Here are some wise words from a few respected men of science: "Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless." (Professor Louis Bounoure, Director of Research, National Center of Scientific Research). "Evolution is unproved and unprovable." (Sir Arthur Keith--he wrote the foreword to the 100th edition of, Origin of the Species). "Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever." (Dr. T. N. Tahmisian, Atomic Energy Commission, USA).
"To suppose that the eye . . . could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree." Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species

Evolutionists boldly proclaim that evolution is a science, but science demands empirical evidence. For example, how do we know that the Big Bang actually occurred? They can't recreate it in a laboratory, they can only guess. The rock strata is replete with fossil evidence, but the transitional forms are lacking. The supposed bird/reptile Archeopteryx is only a bird, not an intermediary form. All the dating methods are suspect,(I have addressed this before)Uranium/Lead is the most popular. The age of a particular rock strata is tested for the presence of Uranium 238 and Lead 207. Depending on the parent/daughter element ratio, the date of the rock can be estimated. But, you are not told that three assumptions are made. First, the original parent/daughter element ratio must be known, impossible. Second, the decay rate must be constant, can't know that either. Third, there could not have been external changes, it is known that Lead can leach from the rocks and change to Lead 206. ther are a myriad of other problems, but lack of time and space prevent me. Perhaps, if another question arises I can provide more answers. In conclusion the Bible is correct, historically, scientifically, archaeologically. I stand by the Bible.

You'd be surprised to hear me say this (I do not believe in God), but both are correct.
This is my reasoning:
Evolution is a scientific theory, for which there exists no evidence to the contrary, no evidence to refute it. Thus far, evolution as a scientific theory holds up, is steadily on its way to becoming a scientific law or principle about how the diversity of live arose on this planet.
The story of divine creation, as told by the bible, is not a scientific theory. It is a story, a historical document which accounts a version of history. Therefore, it cannot be incorrect, since its nature does not demand that it be proved true by scientific evidence. Therefore, it stands without proof, as correct.
But the distinction is that evolution has validity within the realm of science, whereas the stories of the bible do not. If scientific studies were designed to measure and accumulate scientific evidence which supported the stories of the bible, then evidence might amount in its favor, or it may not. Until then, the bible remains a piece of literary work and the theory of evolution moves forward within the scientific community and helps us all truly understand how nature, independent of any book written, works.

Bible is correct and the theory of Evolution is yet to be determined.
The Catholic Church does not take the story of creation in the Bible literally. Catholics believe it tells religious truth not historical fact.
The religious truth is that God created everything and declared all was good.
The Church supports science in the discovery of God's creation. At this time, the theory of evolution is the most logical scientific explanation. However tomorrow someone may come up with a better idea.
As long as we believe that God started the whole thing, both the Bible and modern science can live in harmony.
With love in Christ.

Depends on what you're asking about. If you're asking about the origin of the human race, I would suggest evolution on the basis that the Bible was never meant to be a scientific text. If, however, you're asking which is more correct about morality or the nature of God, then I would suggest the Bible on the basis that evolution was never meant to be a religious theory.

Coming from a purely evidence-based standpoint, the theory of evolution wins hands down. Although many will dispute this but they also often have a very distorted idea of what the theory of evolution is. To understand it better you'd need to first get a basic foundation in biology and then evolutionary biology. Taking some biology classes or reading a decent text can help.

The Bible is correct. The world was created 6,000 years ago. Dinosaur bones were placed by Satan to mislead the faithful. Nobody believes in carbon dating any more. Stars that seem to be over 6000 light years away are imaginary. So is petroleum, it could not have been created 150 million years ago so it does not exist. Neither does America, it is not in the Bible. Do not use electricity, either--its not in the Bible.
Seriously, how could you even ask this?

The Bible - creation is correct. All of the various theories of evolution have holes in them.

The Bible, but evolution can just be the way God put things together, because One day to God is a thousand years here evolution could just be scientific proof of how God made this planet and or man, its all possible I believe the contentants thousands of years ago were all one.... So what ..if..God..knows and that's what matters what, are we so worried about....we're here aren't we...that's it..who Cares how it came to be lets Just worrie bout where we're going ..he did it , and that's that....because he made the sun,and the sun is where all life was formed, with out light you have no life, and he says he is the Light..before him there was darkness... That's that...Man is just trying to take Gods credit because he found a few things out a few thousand years later,,,wo.. ho...God knew this stuff millions of years ago...Come On....
