I think stronger guidelines need to be created by the police on how and when tasers can be used on citizens. Way too many non-violent and innocent people are being tased. Please contact your local officials and tell them you either want tasers banned or you want tasers strongly regulated on how and when the police can use them.

Better than 1/4 of all citizens that get Shot by the police are either innocent or non-violent. The taser is an alternative to deadly force which protects the citizen, guilty or not and the police officer.

25% are innocent or non-violent huh? That means 75% are guilty and violent. The odds for violence against an officer or a situation in which someone else might be harmed are higher than mistakes. Plus where did you get your "data" from?
First of all, it is not a Police officers job to determine who is guilty and who is not. Their job is to serve the public trust and uphold the law. Police officers put their lives on the line every day dealing with scum of the earth at their own personal risk. mistakes are bound to happen but it's for the ideal of the GREATER good. It's not like they are out on the streets shooting tasers at random people. If the cops are involved there is a good chance there is a reason.
So please Mr Officer, tase the F away my good man. Taser him, taser me, taser everybody.
If you're in trouble, just call 911,
and right to your doorstep the police will come.
If they arrest you
and give you a smack;

Only 1/4... Dang, I thought it was at least 1/2. I will have to petition my local police force to use their Tasers more often! Nothing says Law Enforcement like a disabling jolt of electricity!

You have asked the same B.S question 5 times...Where did you get your "facts"? If you don't want to get roughed up by the cops, then don't do something stupid like break the law. If the police stop you, don't be an idiot and run away. If you are being arrested, don't resist.
Nice try, Man..Go to any prison in the USA and at least 75% if not more are going to say they were framed. You can have the person on tape, committing a crime, and they are still going to have idiots to feel sorry for them.

I think if you're acting foolish, then the police have ever right to taser you. Too many people have no respect for our police and in order to gain some sort of control, I say they should do whatever it takes to get someone in line.

did you know that over 50% of those tasered would have been shot if the officer did not have a taser as an option to subdue the offender.

Would you rather they be tasered or get shot? I vote for tasered; hell, if a cop saw what "he thought" was a gun or knife in my hand and turned out to be a candy bar or something else and shot and killed me, and it was an accident? Hell...give me tasered every time...especially if I'm innocent! better to be down for a couple of minutes then dead forever!
