FIRST of all they were really cool at first and i loved them. I washed them everyday and took care of them but then they just got really bad. I think it was from the beach or river water/the sun? bleh.

I watched my roommate actually take her full head of dreads out this summer...but it took like two or three weeks of sitting in front of the TV with a rat-tail comb and some heavy-duty greasy leave-in conditioner---Go to a beauty supply place and buy the stuff made for african-american hair.

If you only have 5 randomly place dreads, it shouldn't take too long. Just remember to start at the end and slowly work your way up them to the scalp. Be gentle.

Good luck!

You could try oiling them with vegtable oil and just combing it out a little at a time... but even if this does work... you're probably going to have to cut it anyway, becuase the dreads damage your hair.

you have to get them cut off lol but unless you want to spend a few weeks trying to grease and brush them out then good luck otherwise you can go to a salon and maybe get a short haircut and get it styled really cute it shouldnt be that bad..
