You know, if your wife is lucky enough to be represented by a modeling agency, she may go in with hair down to her butt, but that doesn't mean it'll stay that way through whatever modeling career she may have.
They call the shots and may decide to hack it all off once she's signed. It depends on her overall look and what is in demand. She could end up with a bob, a pixie, maybe even a shaved head (yes, there are bald models on the runways now).
She may have to be willing to go through cuts like that, otherwise her career will be short-lived...

Yeah, we're on Yahoo Answers waiting for you to introduce your wife to us. Come on, man--if we knew, would it do you any good? If she wants to be a model, let her figure it out herself. I guess you could ask some modeling agencies for her if you want to. But this isn't the best place to do your homework.
