Maternity leave in the US, I think, is 6-8 weeks, but paternity leave, I don't know. Go to the Department of Labor in your state and see what the LAWS are. Now, when it comes to your company, I think that is going to depend on their policies. Check with the human resource department.

In the UK it is currently 2 weeks. This is for definite. Your company however may offer you a bit extra depending on company policy, however the minimum legal entitlement is 2 weeks.

for men in the uk its two weeks, Im not sure about other countries- if your boss is cool you might be able to take holiday on top of the paternity leave.I was lucky, my bloke got sacked the day i went into labour so I had loadsa time with him(hope you can sense my sarcasm)
